Golf in Paradise at Dorado Beach Resort & Club
Golfing at a TPC course in paradise is every serious golfer’s dream. And it’s exactly what Dorado Beach Club & Resort is known for around the world.
Part of the TPC Network since spring 2015, TPC Dorado Beach features world-class Caribbean golf courses including the historic East Course, home to the 2015 PGA Tour Latinoamerica Tour Championship and named #1 Golf Course in Puerto Rico by Golf Digest in 2016. These "must-play" Caribbean golf courses run through lush tropical foliage and oceanfront coconut groves, inspiring and challenging golfers of all types. After one picturesque round at any of Dorado Beach's three golf courses, you'll certainly find out what this exclusive Puerto Rico golf resort is all about.
East Championship Course
Rated #1 Golf Course in Puerto Rico by Golf Digest, Robert Trent Jones Jr.'s renovation of the historic East Course to the original vision designed by his father brings this classic seaside course into the 21st century with a subtle rebirth as a modern masterpiece.
The Sugarcane Course
The Sugarcane Course, built in 1972, is the more challenging of the two Plantation courses, although it boasts larger fairways and greens. This course requires you to negotiate forced carries and deep bunkers. The back nine is surrounded by newly created rivers and lakes and offers a much different look, never before seen at the old Cerromar and Dorado Courses.
The Pineapple Course
The Pineapple Course, also built in 1972, was designed to be the more-friendly course for golfers with fewer forced carries. The bunkers are not as deep and the greens are slightly larger. The back nine of The Pineapple Course is made up of four holes with ocean views, followed by a tough five-hole stretch concluding with a fantastic par four 18th that finishes up on a green just below the golf Clubhouse terrace.
La Hacienda Clubhouse
With spacious terraces, bars, restaurants, all with views of emerald fairways and the mountains beyond, La Hacienda Clubhouse is the community's hub and a perfect gathering place for friends and family, featuring Panela, Cocina Social, a casual, social-vibe restaurant and the soon to be open Melao, that will represent the fun and flavor of Puerto Rico. The Clubhouse is the golf headquarters for the resort community, housing Dorado Beach's own Golf Pro Shop, driving range, putting and chipping greens, and private locker rooms.
So if you’re wondering where your next golf vacation should be, look no further and enjoy the best of what Dorado Beach Resort & Club has to offer.
